Pharmacists most valued the integrated team-based approach, GP involvement, and inclusion of real patients, as well as the pre-reading manual, BP measurement workshop, and case studies (simulation). Post-implementation the interviews highlighted that comprehensive training increased pharmacists' confidence in providing the service, however, training of other pharmacy staff and patient recruitment strategies were highlighted as a need in future. Seven studies reported that through screening, pharmacists could identify adults with undiagnosed depression. Pharmacists referred adults screening positive for assessment in seven studies and followed up participants in two studies. No study assessed the impact of screening on depressive symptoms or the cost-effectiveness of pharmacists screening for depression. Conclusion: Community pharmacists are able to use depression screening tools to identify undiagnosed adults having symptoms of depression. However, there is little evidence around the impact of this screening on clinical and economic outcomes. Larger, well-designed studies that use a highly accurate, easily administered screening tool and include patient referral and follow-up and pharmacist training are warranted to provide evidence on the impact of community pharmacists screening adults for depression.]]> Tue 10 May 2022 17:14:36 AEST ]]> Engaging general practice and patients with AusTAPER, a pharmacist facilitated web-based deprescribing tool https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:40964 Thu 21 Jul 2022 08:38:17 AEST ]]> Impact of pharmacist-initiated educational interventions on improving medication reconciliation practice in geriatric inpatients during hospital admission in Vietnam https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:50555 Thu 08 Feb 2024 15:27:05 AEDT ]]> Promoting quality use of medicine in chronic respiratory diseases in Vietnam: the role of pharmacists https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:35358 Thu 01 Aug 2019 15:34:56 AEST ]]> Safe dispensing in community pharmacies: applying the software, hardware, environment and liveware (SHELL) model https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:31023 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:34:50 AEDT ]]> Clinic-and Hospital-Based Home Care, Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) and the Evolving Clinical Responsibilities of the Pharmacist. https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:41094 Fri 22 Jul 2022 17:25:18 AEST ]]> Pharmacists' confidence in managing patients with inflammatory bowel disease https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:36857 Fri 10 Jul 2020 19:14:46 AEST ]]>
